Graphite on paper
2009-10
(9.24cm x 40cm)
9m24cm was crested at a 4 month residency at Artists Unlimited, in Bielefeld Germany, during 2009-2010.
It is many from thousands of individually drawn graphite lines using a Rotring clicker pencil and ruler.
The artist created this drawing in a 6 week time frame, drawing every day for several hours on end.
The piece was especially made to fit one of the exhibition spaces at the Artists Unlimited gallery, but has been shown in several other venues such as Rochdale Art Gallery and Neo Gallery in Bolton, UK.
